Depends on the state. In some cases, just being seen leaving the other person's home in the morning is enough.

and if you are a soldier, the rules are quite different and much more strict than for a civilian. From what I understand, no matter how good it feels at the moment, once the military gets done with you, you will realize it wasn't worth it.
