Hi!! I have a quesotin if you guys can help me out!!

I just got caught driving 96km/h on a 60km/h...but the cop was nice enough to only write me down for 10 over the limit. It should have been 4 points and a $300 something fine..but instead...it's now no points and a $40 fine.

Now, here is my question. I've heard that insurance goes up according to how many tickets you have...and not only by points, etc......so it's probably best if i can fight this one off so I don't even have this on record....however, I'm not sure if that's such a good idea since the cop already let me go easy....can he make make it worse if i see him in court....?

Secondly, even if I do chooose to go to trial. From your experiences..would it be sufficient if I go by myself..or is it better to hire someone to do it for me for like $120?

Any input would be appcreciated!!

Thanks,
Yorick

what the?? so does anyone have any advices?

Yes, but this forum is supposed to deal with cases in the US....MPH, and not km/h. While it is noble to fight for justice, once you have gotten as many breaks as your message claims, the mercy of the court is all you've got left. Maybe they have an alternative sentencing thing....like driver's education.
