I live in Toronto, Ontario.
Hi!! I have a quesotin if you guys can help me out!!
I just got caught driving 96km/h on a 60km/h...but the cop was nice enough to only write me down for 10 over the limit. It should have been 4 points and a $300 something fine..but instead...it's now no points and a $40 fine.
Now, here is my question. I've heard that insurance goes up according to how many tickets you have...and not only by points, etc......so it's probably best if i can fight this one off so I don't even have this on record....however, I'm not sure if that's such a good idea since the cop already let me go easy....can he make make it worse if i see him in court....?
Secondly, even if I do chooose to go to trial. From your experiences..would it be sufficient if I go by myself..or is it better to hire someone to do it for me for like $120?
Any input would be appcreciated!!
Thanks,
Yorick
