What is the name of your state? GA

My husband and I had 3 businesses go out in the course of 6 months approx. 4 years ago. We had several cars, a camper, a boat, and various other items repossessed. We tried working with our creditors but nothing worked. Because of that, we decided to just wait out the repo's on our credit. Now, we have collection agencies that are relisting our debt monthly on our credit report. Basically, it's not going away.

We had reached the decision to file chapter 7 as we have no assets. However, the week we set up the appointment with our attorney, my husband lost his job and I was notified that we are being audited by OR state for 2002 and 2003 tax years. We moved to GA at the beginning of 2004 and all of our tax records were lost during the move.

HELP!! I am open to any suggestions concering either the bankruptcy or the tax situation.
