What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana
I just finished filing a provisional and realized that one part of my invention may have dire military combat applications. I have contacted a military person about it, and it turns out, he is a registered patent agent. Should I reveal it to him? Should I maybe hire him? What about an NDA do I need one? This invention has at least 4 differing applications beside just the military one. Thanks beforehand to all who respond.

Once you have filed your provisional, your rights are fairly secure, at least so long as you file a nonprovisional application within a year. As to the rest of your questions, only you are in a position to know how to proceed.
