What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Utah

Basically each and every person engaged in sport, has been involved in signing of a waiver.. But unfortunately, many were not fully aware and have not fully understood the legal implications of this.

What are the guidelines to follow when drafting a waiver?
Are there any alternatives to waivers? What are those?

Only an attorney familiar with your state's civil and criminal liability laws should draft a waiver. Depending on the activity, the waiver could be a simple form all the way up to a multi page document.

Be advised that even if you have the waivers and even if you have it all legally done, it will NOT keep you from getting sued and having to defend if someone wants to sue you.

You did not say what sport or how it is set up but it COULD be a liability policy might work. Without many details that is pure speculation.
