What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana

My ex and I have come to an agreement that it would be in our 2 children's best interests if he just signs off. My husband also would like to adopt both children. I would like to know how to go about getting this started, all fees required and how to still be able to get all child support that he is behind and currently ordered to pay. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Get a consult with a local adoption attorney.

IF you're all in agreement it shouldn't be too difficult, but is still something you'd best have handled professionally.

Once the adoption takes place though your ex will NOT be responsible for any ongoing child support. You all understand that, right?

You will need the help of an attorney to make this happen.

Have you asked your husband this question: If we divorce are you going to be willing to pay child support? His answer could prove to me most enlightening to you;)
