I live in the state of Montana. My friend requested I "cover" 2 expensive alcohol bottles totaling around $100 with written consent to pay me back, as well as receipts to for the amount. However, her and her boyfriend are claiming they don't have to pay it back because "it was for alcohol" and are saying I'm harrassing them for asking for the money owed to me. I have not threatened either of them, I've expressed frustration but simply asking for money back that she said she would pay me. Will this hold up in small claims?

If you purchased alcohol for minors, you will not want to pursue payment in court.
