i live in pennsylvania with my significant other and our two year old daughter. my significant other was diaignosed with brain cancer 2 years ago and i need to protect my daughter. will my daughter be eligable for benefits after his death? (his name is on birth certificate and i also signed a determination of parent form at assistance office) also, will i be eligable for some kind of assistance from social security even though we are not legally married? thank you for your help.
