My son and his girlfriend broke up and we helped her get an apartment. Paid the down payment. She and my son signed an agreement to share parenting to their child. They had a disagreement over the phone and she hasn't let him see his son for two months. Does she have this right? She has lied repeatedly to us to get her way, and so she would not keep the child from our son. Isn't this a form of blackmail and what are the laws? We have hired a lawyer to get visitation for our son and are still waiting for the courts. It seems the justice system favors the mother and that the father is automatically a deadbeat. Our son is employed and paying child support. Could someone please enlighten me? Thanks
