What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? AL

I received a phone call stating that I owed $6,000 on a credit card account that I opened 6 years ago. To my knowledge, I have only made one purchase of $400 on the credit card. I spoke to my daughter about it and found that there were 4 other accounts opened in my name that I did not authorize and another account that is mine that now has a $1200 balance that is not mine. Soon after this shocking discovery my husband of 3 years left me a note saying that he is leaving with no explanation as to why. This all happened last week.
After a detailed investigation of my credit report, I have found that my husband is delinquent on our house payments, his car payments, and jewelry payments, all of which are in my name. My daughter paid off the car payment as the car and tag and now title are in my name.
I am assuming that he has opened all these accounts in my name and these are my questions:
Am I responsible for these accounts even though I did not know about these charges because he and I were married? He obviously forged my name on them.
What is the best course of action for me to get my vehicle back from him?
Once it is discovered that he did all this, will it be taken off my credit report?
Does he have any rights to the truck which he drives but is all in my name?

Call the police immediately and file a report. Your ID was stolen. Act in a timely manner and you won't be responsible. Sit around and let it continue to happen and you may find yourself on the hook for some, if not all, of it. Your name and signature forged are a crime against you.

If the car is in your name, call the police and ask for a civil stand-by for picking up your car (be prepared to show them proof). If he refuses, the police will have it on record he didn't give you the car. I don't know if they'll force him or tell you its civil, but he'll be a bigger idiot for saying No to you taking your car with the police there.

If the truck is in your name, but he uses it, then the truck is yours. That's small beans right now.

The credit report is another mess. Challenge the debts you didn't make and put an ID theft notice on your reports with all three agencies so you will be contacted prior to new accounts being opened.

First step though is to CALL THE POLICE AND FILE A REPORT.
