My husband's mother has granted me and my husband special power of attorney of her 16 yr old son. My question is: Is there anyway that we can get the special power of attorney revoked by us? I do know that she can have it revoked at any time, but can we relinquish this responsibility? We no longer wish to have this 16 yr old living with us, but the mother will not take him back. We do not want any legal responsibility for his future actions. We live in IN. My husband's mother is active duty Air Force (legal resident of TX).
