Speeding ticket with fake id

I was pulled over for speeding, i was doing 63 in a 55 zone. When i handed the officer my drivers license he was looking in my wallet and saw my fake id and asked what it was, i handed it to him. He came back and gave me a ticket for both the speeding and possesion of a fake id. My question is this is my first offense and i want to keep points off my driving record, but should i go to court with the fake id charge too. Will the fake id count against my insurance and can i get that reduced to anything. Any help would be appreciated.

The fake ID is not a moving violation, and you will not receive any points. It is however a MISD and will be on your record. Look out for the fine ouch!!!!!!!
