What is the name of your state? WI

I live in IL, but got a speeding ticket in Jackson county, WI (wisconsin). The ticket was 103 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. It was $491 too damn crazy. The ticket was given to me by an officer driving a blue or burgandy patrol car.

Should i get in a lawyer or how should i go about reducing the money on this ticket.

Color of the patrol car because i was not sure it was a state patrol car or not.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Please.

The citation should state who issued the ticket. The color of the patrol car will be irrelevant.

Do you have any argument to defend yourself? Or are you simply going to beg for a lower fine? Usually when someone goes to court it is because they are going to argue they are not guilty. if that is not the case, then you might see about making payments, or, seeing if you can plead to a lower speed.

My suggestion:
Pay your ticket. You deserved it for driving like an insane person.
Slow down next time.
Please don't come to PA.

The officer already charged my Credit Card. So the ticket is paid. But i want to go beg for a lower fine. The fine is too much, it is actually insane.

As far as my driving goes. I was driving perfectly fine on a clear day, most of the cars on the right lane. Was just trying to reach home in a perfectly sane manner.

103 MPH is driving in a "perfectly sane manner"?! How so?

Or do you contest the speed? If so, how fast do YOU believe you were going?

So you decided to drive in a perfectly "sane" manner after the officer stopped you? You were driving in an insane manner before!

**Sounds like a done deal to me. The ticket is paid; you gave them the credit card.

**You were driving fine on a perfectly clear day. Hmmm...was there a speed sign that designate a different speed under these conditions?

Maybe they don't count if you are driving too fast to read them?

Forgive me for asking what may be a stupid question,(I've never gotten a ticket). Since when do officers in a squad car have a "Debit machine?"

Paradise, I live in Fl and there is no option to "Pay on the spot" when you get a ticket, however when I was in I believe Ga (maybe not) there were options to pay the fine at the point of infraction, but I am not sure if it was through; CC, cash, Check or all of the above. In GA (I believe) when you get a ticket the officer takes your license right there and your ticket is your temp license until the fine is paid, which again, I believe can be paid on the spot.
Someone here will clarify that, I'm sure

Beats me too that i had to pay up on the spot. The reason i am thinking is that since i was driving over 31 mph over the posted speed limit.

Well, what is done is done. This is my first ticket in 7 years after i got my license, the thing is the situation seems bad and so i need to get a lawyer from all your replies.

Any suggestions still would be appreciated?

PS: this is the last time i drove that fast ? Damn, got no money to pay up ?
