speeding tickets and write offs

I am an independent contractor and I pay 15.3% of my income to uncle sam. I recently received over $500 worth of tickets and paid them with money made from being a contractor. Do I still have to pay the 15.3% on this or is it a write off? thanks.

Traffic ticket fines are not tax deductable in any way, shape, or form.
