What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

Hi, I have brought my mother here to US about 4 years ago and she has a green card now. When applying I had to sign " sponsorship" form. I was wondering if somehow I can refuse and cancel to be a sponsor for her.
Thank you.

No, sorry.

The only way your obligation will stop is if one of these things happen:

She abandons her residency (leaves the country permanently)
She acquires 40 qualifying Social Security quarters (works for about 10 years)
Naturalizes (becomes a citizen)
She dies
