The District Attorney in San Bernardino, California is attempting to collect spousal support/alimony using the child support enforcement laws. They are taking any tax refunds due me, and they are threatening to suspend my drivers license, they take 25%of any unemployment benefits I receive. The statements I receive from them state that the amount owed is for child support. My child support obligations were fulfilled without any interference from the District Attorney. Their involvement came 4 months after my son turned 18. Is the District Attorneys actions legal? Is it possible I may have a case against the State?
