I really could use some ideas out there if anyone knows?? I am hoping to get an idea as to whether I am entitled to still get spousal support if my seperated spouse went on disability and yet lives an extravagant lifestyle leaving me to get by on my own SSD which I have been on since 1985. I have had 28 surgeries and still suffer from crippling arthritis. I have physical custody of our three sons but he does not and has not paid child support either. He claims he has no money yet the court ordered him to pay spousal support in 1997 and he stopped paying in 1999. He went on disability in 2000 for a mental problem and HE decided he no longer had to pay me. Since I was recuperating from one of my surgeries, I did not have the means to take it back to court. Any ideas on how to deal with this? Thanks
I could really use some input on this so thank you in advance.:)
