i live in texas. i have been receiving spousal support for three years since my divorce. it runs out in june 2000. i have not been able to complete my education in these three years. after june i will not be able to keep rental the house my kids and i live in. they are in college/no child support. my ex and i were married 25 years and during that time i helped him complete his education (mba) to attain his almost six figure income. he took the debt and the house and filed bankruptcy and let our home go into foreclosure after our divorce was final. both are now on my credit report and i cannot even rent an appartment for myself must less large enoung for all three of us. this was not a no fault divorce and he now lives with a woman 30 years younger than him. why should her and her children benifit from his imcome when my children and i are destitute? do i have any recourse?
