What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OHIO

I apologize for the length of this question.

I was married to a Canadian citizen ( PA ) in March of 2000. In April of 2001 she suffered a stroke and I took care of her both finacially and health wise. Her daughter ( also living with us ) would not help one bit. When my mother passed away in May of 2002, her only concern was what I was going to contribute to her daughter's wedding from my mom's "estate" , which I refused to do due to her daughter's attitude the entire time her mom was sick. In November of 2002 she left while while I was at work , taking every thing , including property I owned prior to the marriage. I was ordered to pay her $410 a month for life. In November of 2007, her QDRO stopped because she failed to file certain papers in Alleghney County ( PA ) . The papers that I received stated that the order had been "disolved", and I am now receiving my full disability. Since that time I have been under doctors care for a number of illnesses , including diabtes, and depression . I have had a number of ministrokes four of which required hospitalization , and at this time , I have to see one doctor or an other , sometimes twice a week.
In March of this year , I received an order from a Canadian court requiring me to resume payments. With co-pays , medications and other medical expenses , this will place a burden on me financialy . I already have to cancel doctors appointments or go without medication due to my $1300 a month ( Full ) disability.
Having outlined the situation , my question is:

Is there any way to reduce or eliminate Spousal payments to this woman , and/or avoid having to pay her " for life" ?

BTW - I think I should mention that my mother's "estate" was $1280 after all expenses were paid. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

HOw does the Canadian court have jurisdiction over you? YOU Need an attorney in Canada. Did the divorce take place in PA?

Yes , the marriage took place in PA , but the "new" oder was filed through the Canadian Court and sent to Ohio Family Services. I have not received any notice of a hearing , but will be seeing a lawyer on Jan 7th.
