HELLO,
I understand after 3 years they SS can and will review your case. How is this proccess done and what do they base their descision on? I havent seen a dr in a long time and I was wondering how will SS know if Im still disabled or not. thanks n

Depending on the severity of your disability , SSA may or may not send you to a Facility they use to review your case . SSA will send you a letter to let you know .

If they decide to , they may try contacting your last Drs. . If it's been a while , they will most likely tell you when ,where and what time to go for a review .

They may also send a person out, who (calls first for an appointment) if they can't get you by telephone, they will show up, to conduct a 'disability field review'. You don't comply, or your not at home, they canvass your neighbors.
