What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan, might involve WI and Mass.

I have a confusing situation. I have a temporary job interested in me (nobody hired me yet, job 5-6 months long). Anyway I get SSI 674 and Medicaid. The job pays minimum wage 40 hours a week, but it out-of-state (depending on where they send me WI or Mass. The company that I would be working for however is in MO.)

I calculated and I think if I am getting 674 SSI, I will get to keep a little of my check and my Medicaid I guess. My disability is medical based and I need some sort of coverage, so that is most important.

The problem is the job provides housing, with housing, my benefit drops to about 450 and now the job is over the limit to keep SSI. I'm afraid of that in case I need SSI after the job too because I could not find a replacement job.

I am currently using Ticket to Work, how would that affect this situation?

The solution I thought of would be paying part of the rent of the housing anyway, but I would have to tell my employer about the disability stuff and I am scared they will discriminate.

Also, Medicaid I think might not transfer very well to the other state if I'm only going to be a temp resident there.

Help!
