What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan

Basically I just got rewarded SSI, but one of the local jobs I applied for before I found out about this wants to interview me. It's a full time job that exceeds the gainful employment limits but there's a weird twist: It's a job that begins and ends in September (I don't know the exact dates). I know I would have to report this job, but... what impact would this have? They are already sending me a check for September really soon (the first) but would that affect October check if I did it? Should I try it at all?

SSI or SSDI?
Date of onset of disability?
Date of entitlement to SSDI?
Date of entitlement to SSI?

If you have not yet been entitled for 12 months, then going back to work may be cause to reopen your allowance to a denial. And if you are physically and mentally able to work for the next 12 months, then you really are not disabled enough for Social Security.

I also think generally, if you can work, you should work.
