What is the name of your state? Ohio I received my SSD & SSI in April, 2006. My award letter says I will be reviewed for my SSI in April, 2009. My SSD will be reviewed in 5-7 years. I was wondering if anyone knows why there is two different dates? Thank You. Pam

SSA will sent out review questionnaires for SSI in the mail periodically ( per policy ) that the beneficiary or their Rep. Payee must fill out and return .

On the other hand SSA will look at your disability and determine how often they will review for disability for SSDI .

For SSDI you may receive a letter to inform you , SSA will be reviewing your case shortly , then depending on your disability , send another letter telling you SSA has decided not to review your disability at this time ( or they might ) .
