What is the name of your state? New York

I would like to start a Sports League in New york. what are the legal steps I have to go through, to get it going? I plan on starting a Basketball and Flag football league in all five boros, and some out of state.

I'd love to have my own restaurant. But I can't and won't because I don't know all the in and outs of the business. You are in the same boat. My suggestion would be to become involved in the operation of a sports league and learn all you can. There are probably a 1001 issues and there is no way anyone can tell you how to start and run a sports league from a website.
