Well, yeah, except a lot of people think that discrimination laws only protect certain races and only protects females.
GML, discrimination/harassment due to race (any race) or gender is prohibited. Period. The state of your health and income level are not factors.
What is also true is that many individuals don't understand what constitutes prohibited harassment either. Being treated less favorably or being subject to unwanted sexual advances or comments BECAUSE of your race or gender is illegal. People you work with simply being jerks is not.
