What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

How long does one have to file a wrongful eviction lawsuit after the event?

Your post obviously does not contain nearly enough information for anyone on here to answer you accurately.

If a UD action is filed against you, you have five days to file an answer with the court to contest it. Did you do that? If not, why not?

Why don't you start by posting a bit of the "story" behind your question.
