I have a feeling it's just a threat so he feels in control so I'm just going to wait and see. I will update you all with what happens!

Just an update.

Our final adoption hearing is Monday morning and we haven't heard another peep from my ex. I guess he was either blowing smoke, or is planning something dramatic. A mutual friend of our was telling me how the ex was going off on a rant the other night. He got the hearing notice in the mail and it stated he did not have to appear. He told this friend that he may just show up to court anyway to "speak his mind". We'll see how this plays out...

Most threats are just that... threats. Even if he does show up, if he just rants and raves he might delay things but will eventually run out of steam.

Wanted to update all of you. The adoption is final! Despite his threats, her biological father did not show up to the hearing. This is a huge load off my mind! All of you have been a big help through all of this and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
