I am a mother of four children. My ex-husband got married in 2000 to a woman in her middle forty's. This was her first marriage to my ex. She's never had any children of her own. I live out of state with my new husband. My ex husband and I have joint custody of our four children. They go to school in Southern California and live with me in the summer. My 15-year-old daughter lives with me now. This is the problem last year in July my children came home and told me of the physical abuse they got from their Step Mom. My oldest daughter told me how their stepmother would grab my 10-year-old son and throw him against the wall and then hold him down if he said no to her. That she would grab both of my sons with her nails and force them into their rooms. My 15-year-old daughter would tell her dad about what was happening but her father would not believe her or her brothers.

When my children came home for the summer they showed me the scars that their Stepmother had done to them. I called my ex-husband up and he denied this ever happened. I called Social Services and they came out to interview my four children and said that my children where abused by their Step Mother. My ex husband still does not believe this to have happened. I found out later that now their Step Mother has them all on Ritalin. My Ex husband said they are have ADHD. I took them all to a Psychiatrists and he has informed me they don’t have any signs of ADHD. Please help with any advice. I need to protect my children.
Thank-you
Gayle

You need to get a copy of the Social Service workers report that she took at your home, keep a copy for yourself and send another copy to Social Services where your exhusband lives. Hire a lawyer and petition for emergency temporary custody of the kids using the SS workers report as basis for this.

Do whatever you have o do to protect your children!Maybe you ex is the one that needs to be on medication!I can't believe that he will take his new wifes word over your four children!!!Do what you have to before she takes the abuse any further! If they go back there to her and your ex there is no telling what she may do to punish them for outting her!
