my nephews were adopted by there step dad, then they moved far away for about 4 years now they are divorced and the mom has moved back with in 30 miles of me and the "legal" dad followed. I have been in contact with the legal dad and he says that he will let me see them for christmas and the mom says no.
can the legal dad let us see them, with out any kind of litagation?

also, would like to add that the bio mom (who has custody)
is in hiding from the "legal dad" and is threatening to have his rights removed. she is living with another man and there is talk if this new man to adopt. now my concern is the emotional wellfare of these boys!
they went from there real dad 4 years ago to
there step dad who adopted them and now they have not seen
him for 6 months and she is living with a new man. with the talk of him adopting b/c the legal dad owes so much child support.
I realy need some advice here, b/c not only are they bounce from home to home they are being shiped to relatives while she takes many trips with "friends" I am sad for them and would like to stop this madness, before the boys are emotionaly damaged.
