What is the law regarding refund or not on no contract given or signed. No verbal rules given to us . We paid deposit and $500 and was trying our best to keep vacation plans, but at 3 weeks out, had to cancel and owner not wanting to refund $500.
If this is a vacation rental then what ever that businesses refund /cancelation policy is would be your answer. Vacation rentals are typically not covered by state landlord tenant laws since the arrangement is not residential living but commercial in nature.
