New York: student attending state university, falsely accusesed of theft ($12) by roommate. Dorm RA hears accusers side, takes immediate action (moves accuser), never contacts accused, never supervises removal of personal belongings, accussed is confronted by roommates 28 year old sister during move. Dorm RA upchannels situation to highger campus adminstration (adjuicating officer)before even speaking to accused.

What are student's (acused) rights?

Your rights to this non-judicial, in-school matter are limited to what you agreed to in the student handbook and student regulations. Nothing more, or less.
