What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
It doesn’t matter if the calls are telemarketing calls. Let’s presume they are. Are their phone numbers in the do not call list? If not nobody is prohibited from calling. If their number is on the list due to the recent business relationship you can call them unless they say don’t call. Your company has a procedure for stopping the calls. If the consumer fails to properly register their choice to no receive calls it’s on them. I don’t believe The FTC would see it as a violation as the consumer is given the process to opt out of the calls.
So, since you can’t answer if their phone numbers are even on the do not call list, all of you complaining is a waste since you have no idea if the law even applies.
