i was terminated and i sued the company. my former employer settled (denied me fmla) and we moved on. now i have found out that my former supervisor was laid off from her position. because she harrassed me and was the main cause of me being terminated, can i personally sue her now? i have copies of all the emails that she sent out and it is clear, she just harrassed me unbelieveably.

I would imagine the settlement agreement you signed included a full and final release of the employer, their employees, their affiliates, their "agents," and so on. Assuming that's the case, no, you cannot sue your supervisor. Besides, she's lost her job - assuming you actually could sue her and prevail, do you think she actually as any money to pay any judgment you would be awarded?

No civil suit for what you said here ... unless the emails are libelous ... bring them to an attorney -- only do this on a contingency contract, but that is just my opinion.
