What is the name of your state? California.

Situation:
My wife has a 21-year old daughter who is a Crystal Meth Addict.
The daughter lives with her father (my wife's ex-husband), because she cannot take care of herself.
She has an 11-month old baby (she was clean during the entire pregnancy-which was easily verifiable to us, as her skin always breaks out when using meth).
The father of the baby is in jail for 6 years, for (among other things), burglary, possession of crystal meth and a couple of parole violations.

While we have tried to help my wife's daughter to stay clean (pay for therapy, school tuition, support groups, etc....), it is obvious that she has fallen completely off the wagon.

With the help and agreement of my wife's ex-husband (the current primary care giver), my wife and I want to, for the safety of the child, sue for full custody.

Both my wife and I have good jobs, we live in a large house and could easily raise the baby, as well as afford a good lawyer.

I'm looking for two things:
1. A recommendation for (or a way to find) a good and aggressive family lawyer in the Long Beach, CA Area.
2. An educated guess of our chances to sue for custody, rather than having social services step in to take the child away for its own safety, as the mother is clearly an addict.
