What is the name of your state? New York State

I used to work from this company 2 yrs ago and now they are filing bankcruptcy. I just received a subpoena from their attorney saying that I need to produce all documents pertaining to that company. They also want me to testify. I was so shocked to have received this because I don't have their documents. Why are they demanding me to give documents I don't have. What are the ramifications if I ignore this? How do I know if this subpoena is for real?

A: A warrant for your arrest/ contempt of court.
