Support and job change Q

What is the name of your state? VA I am the NCP and of course paying child support. I was unemployed last year for about a month. I then recieved a job and have been there for almost a year now. However, because it was originally a temp job and simply because I made a little bit more and didn't want to pay more child support......I didn't report the change to the court. I am going to update all the info 30 days before I move as required by law, But the order didn't state when I had to give a notice of job change.....so do you think I could get in trouble for that?.....lol.I'm current on all support and paid the full amount when I was unemployed for a month. My real Question is, will I owe back child support from the time I started my current job...if the CP went back to court for support modification? Or would it start from the time a new order is entered? Thanks:D

I'm not sure how long you were temp, and what the formula's involve, but I worked temp for 9 months after my department was cut and, while the wage was ok, the actual compensation package while temping was considerably less, as I recieved NO benefits.

An modification will only go back to the date of filing. You are certainly not the first person who didn't report an increase in income, CP or NCP.
