Back in November I had a TOP (Termination of pregnancy). I went to the doctor for the post-checkup and all was in "order". After going to the OBGYN last week about getting my tubes tied, I found out the TOP didn't take and I am now 18 weeks pregnant.

All rights of choice have been taken away because I am now in the second trimester. It sounds awful, but do I have any rights over this situation? Because the doctor was not thorough and he did not physically check me at the post-op exam, do I have any rights to persue a financial settlement?
This is number 4 baby and my husband and I are now worried about maternity leave ( I just started a new job and therefore not entitled to paid time) housing, college, medical (I didn't know and therefore had dentist x-rays etc)
Thanks for any assistance!
