I am a Medicaid transportation driver. I drive members to their doctor appointments and etc. I work for a private company that has been taking my hours that I work claiming my job performance was poor. I use a company vehicle so once I get in the vehicle, I write my time down because there is no time clock. There is a time sheet on the desk in the office that we put our time on every workday ending. But on payday my hours are not what they should be. Because one my employer says it takes me too long to get to places so she shaves my time. Need I remind you I'm still on the clock and never picks the member up late. So why is she shaving my time. Last pay period they took 5 hours, this pay period they took 12 hours. Both times I went to talk to her about my hours. The first time she said she wasn't gonna pay me because I was wrong. The second time she said she wasn't gonna pay me and she was gonna start taking off for having to keep going over my time. She told me I couldn't count hours and needs to take up a hour counting class. So I quit. The following Sunday they texted me and told me they really needed me to work if they had to pay me out their pocket so I'm back at work. I just need advice on what I need to do because I know I'm right and they can't keep doing this. And after going threw my time and check stubs I discovered that every since I started the pay dates and pay periods haven't been correct. This is crazy and something needs to be done.
