What is the name of your state? Massachusetts

Hi,

I'm getting married soon and will be filing to get my new husband a green card. I don't have copies of the past 3 year's tax returns as required. From the IRS, you can order copies for $39 per year OR you can get a tax return transcript free of charge. It says that mortage brokers and banks usually accept the transcripts. Do you know if the immigration folks will accept them as well or do I need to pay for the offical copies?

Thanks.

Free transcripts are the preferred document :)
