In California if you have a worker compensation case I was told that you don't have to pay taxes on the amount you get when you don't work. After that, when you are declared permanent and stationary if you choose to close the case with compromise and release and get everything in one check what are you required to declared on your tax form and where. are any of this money consider income?
Thank you in advance for your help.
