I live in Arkansas, my daughter lives in Mississippi, in 1993 temporary custody was awarded to her grandmother. In 1997 her grandmother told me that she had filed to adopt my daughter. I never signed anything nor did i receive anything. But i never doubted her grandmother so i left it at that and have no contact with my daughter. Recently i found out that there have been no other filings since the temporary custody in 1993. Do i still have the visitation rights stated in those files and do i have the right to gain custody back of my daughter after all this time?
