Ohio Good Morning. I had my hearing in front of the ALJ Oct 05. The Judge ruled in my favor right then and there at my hearing. He awarded me backpay from March, 04. My attorney and I signed papers right at the hearing and gave them back to the Judge. I called the Hearing and Appeals to check on my paperwork since it has taken so long. The lady said that my paperwork was in writing. I called Social Security and the lady said my paperwork was sent to another office, it was a temporary decision. She said she didn't know what that meant. Can a ALJ change his mind after he has made a ruling at the hearing. I surely hope not, and I wouldn't know why he would. Thank you.
