I want a disability January 27th 2016 400 pack medical condition. I was terminated by my employer on February 8th 2016 stating they were overstaffed. I hired an attorney, which has now dropped the ball on my case so I am wondering if there is anything I can do to get things rolling legally. What papers do I need to fill out? Thank you for your time and cooperation in this matter.

Having a disability does not mean that you cannot be fired.

What was your attorney actually doing?

Being on disability doesn't mean much as stated. The question should be asked. Are you eligible for FMLA? Did you request it? What reason was given for the firing? How long were you off work before they let you go?

Much, much more information needed before it can be concluded that anything illegal happened, or what your options are if something illegal did.

There is a reason for each and every one of these questions so please answer exactly as asked.

1.) How long had you worked for this employer?
2.) How many employees did the employer have within 75 miles of your location? If exact number is not known, over or under 50 will do.
3.) Between January 2015 and January 2016, did you work a minimum of 1,250 hours for this employer?
4.) How long did your doctor anticipate that you would need to be out of work?
5.) What was the nature of your disability?
6.) Was it anticipated to be a short or a long term condition?
7.) What are your primary job duties?
8.) What state are you in?
