 Received "Complaint Of Divorce" papers from ex-to be's attorny. There is a term i do not quite understand, it is in the"Plaintiff respectfully prays as follows" list. The tem is "general Relief". I would luv to have someone explain to me what that term means in this context.

The first item means that "the plaintiff is asking for."

The second item you cite means what, specifically, the person who is suing is asking the court to do.

Hope this helps answer your questions.
