What is the name of your state?Texas
I found a 2000 mercedes that is being sold for 25,000 with a salvaged title. It was taken by the city, and I am guessing that this is the reason why it has a salvaged title because I see no damage and it has only 6620 miles. Probably taken from a drug dealer, but my question is if I can show there is no damager can I get the title changed out of the salvaged title so I can resell it?
Thanks
Nick

Go to> http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/statutes/tn.toc.htm

Then click on>TITLE 7. VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC

Read the following from Texas statutes:

§ 501.100. APPLICATION FOR REGULAR CERTIFICATE OF TITLE
FOR SALVAGE VEHICLE.

§ 501.104. REBUILDER TO POSSESS TITLE OR OTHER
DOCUMENTATION.
