What is the name of your state? wi

my ex wife's boyfriend has been harrassing me and is trying to get me to fight him. he even went so far as to actually walk through my apartment building to try something. i have a restraining order on him. i have complained to the police, social workers involved with my family, and counsilors to no avail. the problem is that he hasen't done anything phyisical and it's my word against his on the verbal abuse. everyone has told me to just take it and wait for him to do something stupid that he can be arrested for.
he has interfered with visitations and phone contacts with my children. threatened me and said some rather nasty things about me in front of them.
the ex not only defends this behavior, but encourages it.
are there no laws to protect the rights of the father? i have been before a judge regarding some of this but he blew me off claiming that i was just a "jelous ex husband".

i yearn for your wisdom and guidance one and all.

Sure, that's a real solution. Tell this idiot that you KNOW the law just as he is bringing down a 20lb hammer on your head.

Use the tape recorder and camcorder. And keep using it until you get results.

well folks, i am rather dissappointed to see that this has gotten nowhere. i did some jumping around and found all sorts of smart-asses giving lots of obvious advice with a superior sarcastic tone, but when it comes to a real question about actual facts of law, nothing. so perhaps all you laywer wanna be's should turn off the tv and pick up a real law book before you play god with peoples lives.
thank you for your time.

My response:

So, what the hell do you want from us? You have tried other methods, and have failed. Also, you refuse to bring a tape recorder with you to use as evidence. You can't stop him from saying what's on his mind. He has a First Amendment right to speak. All because you don't like it, doesn't mean there's a law to stop him.

We can't help you to correct the life you chose, and the skank you once had in your life. You chose her, pal - - not us.

We're not about to go with you and bring a Louisville "Slugger". So, SCREW YOU, and you're on your own.
