What is the name of your state? AR

My family was involved in a major accident on Christmas day. We were driving along when we hit a patch of ice, the car went off the road and down 35 foot into the bed of a river. I suffered several broken vertebra in the spine, a broken pelvis, and a head injury. My wife suffered fractures to all the ribs on one side, one on the other side, a flailed chest, collapsed lung, a broken hand, a chest tube and a trach. We both were in the trauma center TICU for in excess of a week each (my wife longer). Our 7 y/o daughter was in the back seat. When the ambulance crews got on scene, they took care of us, went asked our daughter if she was hurt, she said that her side hurt. Being critical, both my wife and I were unable to tell them to take her to the hospital. They did not transport her to the hospital, or complete any paperwork on her for a refusal of treatment / transport to the hospital (against company policy). They instead left her in the care of relatives who had driven to the scene. As it turned out, my daughter did not have any internal injuries. Even though she still occasionally complains of her side hurting.

What kind of action could I pursue against them?

thanks;

tbob.

Make a complaint with the director of EMS.
Otherwise, you have no other options as your daughter was not injured.

This is a joke, right? You and your wife were seriously injured in an accident and you are upset that your uninjured daughter wasn't taken to the hospital? Geez, count your blessings. If she were truly complaining of pain they would have taken her in, or her relatives would have done so if there was any indication she needed to be seen.

It's so sad when people see dollar signs instead of good fortune.

enjay, your an idiot. you automatically assumed I want to sue someone. I only asked for advice. I never said anywhere in my post that I was suing anyone.
