Help! My mom had this new house put in her name, and THE SHERRIFF just served me with papers that I had to leave in 30 days. I have twin young teens, I am disabled and have animals
Let me go back. This house wa purchased and my moms name was put on it because my grandmother had a massive stroke and went into assisted care living. My grandmothers will states that my children and I are supposed to be taken care of in the POA and the will.I lived with my grandmother and so did my mom before her stroke, now she is in assisted living. we were forced to sell her house to help pay for her care.
My mother is a liar, and tells people she is "afraid of me" and I have given her no indication to be afraid. In fact I had to call the police on her and the police issued a temp PO on her and she is ticked about that. She is a major control freak and she needs help.
What civil papers can I file on her? I need to know ASAP.(tomorrow) Can I complain about the will somehow , or make it legal for me to stay here?
I am in the middle of a divorce and property settlement too. I dont know where she thinks I'm going to go, as I have no money and my main concern are the kids, She is not capable of caring for my children and there is NO WAY I would leave them with her! She has done this before forcing me to go back to an abusive drunk for a husband for eight months, as I had nowhere else to go.
All this b/c mt grandmother (her mom ) is not around anymore. No one did what my grandmother stated she wanted the POA didn't (her son_ and the POA states "whoever my grandmother took care of before is to be taken care of upon her death"
well she isnt dead yet either and the POA (her son) just did whatever he wanted with all her money......all 80 grand of it AND her car and house were sold to pay for her care. The POA knew that my grandmother did not want my mom to have control over her money either. And everyone knew she wanted to leave the money to my kids and the house!
Anyone ever hears the term NARCISSIST? thats what my mother is.
Please tell me what I can file to protect myself once and for all! Do I go about filing something about the will, or something else?
