I rent an apartment in a building with multiple units, i have two neighbors, mother and daughter.... They have been making my life a living hell! They have called DHS on me, made false claims, and have called the police so many times that the police no longer come to the building they call to get my side of the story.... It all stated last year when the mother stole my four year olds lawn decorations and I called the police to report it.... After that all hell broke loose... They call the police at least one a week... they have called making claims my husband and I were physically fighting which ended up being unfounded, they called saying my daughter was playing to loud on the floor (the daughters ceiling) they have called on me saying I intentionally stomped my feet up the stairs (called numerous times for this) once the police stated to see they were fill of **** they started calling the police oob my dog, literally called the cops to tell them that my dog barked at her dog THROUGH A SLIDE GLASS DOOR!! They called another time saying my dog scared them because he barked at their dog who WAS NOT on a leash.... and ran at my dog who WAS on his leash... They have now gone as far as putting a camera up facing toward my entrance that they DO NOT use at all! Please help there has got to be something I can do! I can't comfortable live my life because they call the cops, DHS and animal control every chance they get! Nobody will listen to me because it's two of them (who are related ) against my husband four year old daughter, myself and my dog! I NEED HELP is it legal for them to record my family and I without our consent? Is there something I can do about the harassment this is insane! Do I have any rights as a tenant to do something?
