What is the name of your state? MN

A couple of months ago I posted that a auto loan creditor that I had listed on my chapter 7 bankruptcy, was posting information a year after discharge. They were reporting delinquent information when I did not sign a reaffirmation agreement.

Points are: I have the vehicle
I have been making payments each month
There never has been any reaffirmation agreement signed.

Can they do this. I disputed this once already with CSC and called the auto loan company. The credit company said that they would remove the negative remarks from my credit file but its showing as if it were new credit.

Any suggestions. Is this legal. Should I be contacting the trustee or someone. My attorney is no longer providing this service and refuses to help me.

Thanks

k

Is the delinquency date that is being reported before or AFTER your bankruptcy filing date ?? If before, WERE you late before you filed BK ??

If they're reporting lates AFTER your filing date, dispute it as 'included in bankruptcy' with the credit bureaus. We now have the right, under FACTA, to dispute information directly with the furnishers of the information. If they bureaus won't remove it, dispute with the creditor directly.
